ASTRA AWARDS

Selling Houses Australia celebrated winning two Astra Awards on April 20th 2009. Winning the industry voted “Most Outstanding Lifestyle Program” and viewer voted “Most Popular Show’.  Being up against the highly commercially promoted Project Runway and Australia’s Next Top Model is a huge win!  Congratulations to everyone involved in the show and a big thank you to everyone who watches the show and voting for us.

DESIGNEX

Where dreams are made from!!  Every year in either, Melbourne or Sydney designers and architects flock to the Designex exhibition where they will find new and innovative products to specify for your home.  Now some of the products are out of reach to the everyday person but it doesn’t mean we cant window shop!  Like this crystal rangehood from integrated appliance group, called evolution star.

Bring on the champers!  But what truly stuck me were the accessable and inovative surfaces companies were investing in to make our home eco friendly and suitable for sustainable living.  Products such as BESD’s, Ecotop made from bamboo and recycled paper.  And then there is  Aliwood, it looks like timber but made from Aluminium and can be used as sound barriers for exterior walls and fences.

This is just a small taste to what I saw and I can’t wait to share these products and more, with you in up and coming projects in our project gallery
