Jay, nearly 8, is right into pirates, and anything to do with the ocean, so before his bedroom makeover, out went all the baby things, and in came the new iron bed. The walls are a soft green… not perfect for our look, but that won’t stop us putting up strong primary colour elements into the bedroom. The curtains however, are a very dark green with yellow, and weren’t allowed to be removed, so we added some white calico drapes on the inside, to reduce the “heaviness” of the existing curtains.
